Almost all of Victoria's current coronavirus restrictions will remain in place until 70 per cent of eligible residents have received at least one vaccine dose, the state government has confirmed.
Mr Andrews said Year 12 students, their teachers, and examiners would be given priority for vaccines at state-run hubs from 7 to 17 September, with bookings open from Monday.
Private inspections of unoccupied premises for end of lease or a new purchase would be allowed, but only one household would be permitted to attend at a time."If we put Shepparton to one side for one moment and think about the rest of regional Victoria, we think we will be able to end the lockdown in the rest of regional Victoria next week," he said.
Victorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton addresses the media during a press conference in Melbourne, Tuesday, August 31, 2021."But to ensure we stay protected, we do have to have these restrictions in place until that first dose reaches 70 per cent of the eligible population."There are now 900 active cases of coronavirus in Victoria.
