A total of 32 local government areas – or LGAs – will be placed under "Stay at Home" restrictions in an effort to stifle the spread of the virus. These include: Banyule, Hume, Moreland, Bayside, Kingston, Mornington Peninsula, Boroondara, Knox, Nillumbik, Brimbank, Manningham, Port Phillip, Cardinia, Maribyrnong, Stonnington, Casey, Maroondah, Whitehorse, Darebin, Melbourne, Whittlesea, Frankston, Melton, Wyndham, Glen Eira, Monash Yarra, Greater Dandenong, Moonee Valley, Yarra Ranges, Hobsons Bay and the Mitchell Shire.
