Victoria's Opposition Leader Matthew Guy has refused to weigh in on a “sleaze file” which revealed a number of senior Liberal MPs had followed scandalous social media accounts.
A dossier compiled by women’s right activists have revealed that several front benchers are following risqué accounts including Playboy Playmates, lingerie models and women who appear on OnlyFans - a subscription website largely used by sex workers.
Shadow treasurer David Davis has come under scrutiny for following the pages of lingerie models via his official social media account. Brighton MP James Newbury was also caught up in the scandal after the file revealed he followed three bikini models via Instagram. “Sorry I’ve got absolutely no intention of going over who liked what on social media… my job is to provide a sensible vision for Victoria,” he said.
