The Andrews government has reached a deal with “affected parties” over its decision to cancel the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Victorian taxpayers will fork out $380 million in compensation for the cancellation of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Premier Daniel Andrews cancelled the 2026 event – which was to be held in multiple regional centres across the state – in July.
