The Warlpiri woman is president of Anthelk-Ewlpaye town camp, on the outskirts of Alice Springs.She said on the night of the referendum, she turned off the tv and "walked away", because it was too difficult to watch. "I was devastated. It was very hurtful. Not only hurtful … heartful. Real ache," she said, placing her hand on her chest."What's going to happen to the future of my son and my grandson?" she said.
