Voters turned against the Albanese government in the weeks leading up to the Voice referendum, a new Newspoll analysis has found.
Australians overwhelmingly rejected Labor's Voice to Parliament proposal on October 14, with more than 60 per cent of the public voting No. And according to a new state-by-state analysis of Newspoll results, voters turned against the government in two key jurisdictions during the referendum campaign.

Voters have also soured on Anthony Albanese, with the Prime Minister’s net satisfaction rating plummeting from 21 per cent to zero since April.Support for the opposition has fallen in South Australia, with their primary vote dropping from 35 per cent to 30 per cent, while Labor’s increased two points and is now at 40 per cent. This leaves Labor with a 2PP lead of 57-43 over the Coalition.
