WA man arrested in 15-year-old cold case of German backpacker

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in Western Australia over the death of German backpacker Simone Strobel who was found naked and covered in palm fonds on a sports ground 17 years ago.

Tobias Moran, nee Suck­fuell, 42, will be extradited to New South Wales on Wednesday to face charges over her 2005 murder.
