A 42-year-old man has been arrested in Western Australia over the death of German backpacker Simone Strobel who was found naked and covered in palm fonds on a sports ground 17 years ago.
Tobias Moran, nee Suckfuell, 42, will be extradited to New South Wales on Wednesday to face charges over her 2005 murder.

Offer ends 31 October, 2022 The following morning Mr Moran reported her missing at the Lismore Police Station, telling officers she left the campsite during the night after they had an argument.
