Police are asking the public for help as investigations continue into the death of a man in WA's Peel region.Investigators want to identify a dark-coloured four-wheel-drive which was seen in the area the night before the body was found. Police have appealed for the public's help as part of an investigation into the death of a man whose body was found in a burnt-out car on the outskirts of a forest in southern WA earlier this month.
According to authorities, the body of a 53-year-old man was found in the front passenger seat of the silver Holden Commodore sedan just after midday on December 6. The body was found in the Springs area, north of the towns of Boddington and Wandering, and south of the Youraling State Forest, 100km south-east of Perth.Homicide squad detectives have been in the area for the past week investigating the suspicious death and believe he was in the company of others before the incident.
Investigators are seeking help identifying a car seen on CCTV in the area the night before the car was found. The dark-coloured four-wheel-drive was seen near a petrol station on Watt Street in Wandering, driving along North Bannister-Wandering Road.Anyone who has information or was in the area of Albany Highway and North Bannister-Wandering Road between 10.30pm December 5 and 6am December 6 is asked to contact CrimeStoppers.Photo shows Rob McEwan looks over with plans for construction laid out on a desk in an office.
