Residents in three towns in Western Australia have been told it is too late to leave and to shelter in place as a massive bushfire threatens lives north of Perth.

Residents in three suburbs along Western Australia 's coast have been told to shelter in place on Friday morning as a massive bushfire, started by a fatal car crash, is threatening lives.

The warning extends inland to Indian Ocean Drive and north to Bibby Road, including Nambung National Park located in the Shire of Dandaragan.
