Travel to Western Australia from every state will be restricted from midnight on Sunday, as Premier Mark McGowan again tightens the state's border rules following COVID cases in Queensland and Tasmania.

"We are, at this point, COVID-free.

"We can have a great Christmas with family and friends, our shops and retail and hospitality can all stay open, and we can have a summer holidays which are entirely normal.But he admitted that would not necessarily be a popular position.WatchWestern Australia is about to let COVID-19 back in.
