The city is forecast for its warmest run of November nights in five years and could see four nights at or above 22 degrees in a row from Thursday onward.The heatwave warning comes after several fires threatened homes near Dirranbandi. Friday and Saturday nights are expected to stay at a minimum of 23 degrees, with Sunday cooling to 22 degrees, and Monday and Tuesday predicted to be 21-22 and 20-22 degrees respectively.
Daytime average temperatures over the next three days are expected to be 5-8 degrees higher than the November average, with high humidity expected to make the temperature "feel" hotter by 3 degrees on Friday and Saturday.Heatwave forecast for Queensland later this week.
