“Squid Game: The Challenge” is a survival show that pits 456 contestants from around the world against each other in a grueling game to stand a chance of winning $4.56 million in prize money.
In the released trailer, as “The hibiscus flower has bloomed” rings out in Korean, the 456 contestants from around the world are seen gathering while dressed in their numbered green sweatshirts. In addition to familiar props, sets, and games from director Hwang Dong Hyuk’s “Squid Game” such as Young Hee, the piggy bank with the prize money, and the maze corridor, the trailer also shows new and unusual games that are unique to the show, which will be presented to the contestants.
