A 12-year-long study has found NSW's coastal rivers, lakes and lagoons were warming twice as fast as the ocean and it's spelling doom for oyster growers like Dominic Boyton.
Dominic Boyton's Merimbula oyster farm in southern NSW has been in the family for four decades.
The average temperatures in those marine ecosystems were up 2.16 degrees Celsius, making breeding harder for some aquatic life.
