Peter Moody has had the Everest preparation he wanted with favourite I Wish I Win, but will wait until Thursday to head to Sydney for the $20 million race.
Peter Moody will not change too much with Everest favourite I Wish I Win as he counts down to Saturday’s $20 million showcase at Randwick.
The Black Caviar duo of Moody and jockey Luke Nolen are teaming up again with I Wish I Win, which has been to Sydney twice and won both the Golden Eagle and the TJ Smith. Hope In Your Heart will be one of a number of Epsom runners fighting for the $1 million mile bonus. Rediener, Kovalica and Golden Mile are on that list.
“We got him home and checked him out and he was fine. He did a wonderful piece of work here morning and he will be there on Saturday.” Each Golden Eagle runner has to nominate a charity to which 10 per cent of the prizemoney is donated.
