Molly won a large following on Instagram after befriending an English staffy Peggie, with carers Juliette Wells and Reece Mortensen regularly sharing cute videos of the pair together.Molly and Peggy became the best of friends. from the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation in March, with authorities saying the couple did not have the right permits to care for native wildlife., promising the pair a permit.
Under the special licence, the couple could not profit from Molly or its image, had to undertake wildlife carer training and continue to engage with department officials regarding the bird's care.
