"Some need to be removed completely, where those statues are honouring people who were known to kill and murder our people, including women and babies.
"Under the concrete and the steel, under this statue and Parliament House here, there's a rich powerful First Nation history which needs to be protected." "Even in those times, our people were fighting for the recognition of their sovereign rights to the areas they lived on."The National Capital Authority is the Government body responsible for the planning and the character of Canberra.
