Why Roosters-Rabbitohs blockbuster at new stadium could decide final finals spot | proshenks
The final-round clash between arch-rivals South Sydney and the Sydney Roosters, the first at the new Sydney Football Stadium, is likely to decide the final spot in the top eight, according to an analysis of every team’s run to the NRL play-offs.
By adding the ladder positions of each opponent, the run home has been calculated for every team. The higher the score, the easier the run-in, as it means a club is playing against sides below them on the ladder. The Sharks have the best of it, playing against teams with a combined score of 62.
