Photos are emerging of viral Olympian Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn’s new life and it’s looking pretty ... pretty nice indeed. One photo — captioned “break the internet” — recently appeared on Instagram and it featured the Aussie dancer and her husband dining out with mega-famous popstar Boy George. That photo was taken in a restaurant in Amsterdam and is just a little window into how her life has radically changed since becoming the accidental hero of the Paris Games. But wait ... there’s more.
“It’s someone like Sir Richard Branson calling you to say that he enjoyed your performance and he thought that it was ‘plucky’ and ‘courageous’ and ‘fun’. “And he would love to do something with me and have me on some cruises with Boy George. “Like, what is life? I don’t know.” Raygun was advised to stay off social media, but was aware of some of the outrage directed at her. “I didn’t understand the scale of it,” she said.
