'Will end up in the clink': Minister's warning after man arrested over 'vile' defacing of NSW Police Wall of Remembrance
Speaking at a media conference on Monday, Ms Catley and NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb confirmed a man has been arrested over the damage following a"swift" investigation. "For us, for police, for the police family, this is a sacred place, and these attacks like we see here with these vile words are nothing short of disgusting," the Police Minister told reporters."The message is, if you are out there being a moron... if you are out there committing these sorts of attacks, then I say to you be careful because you will end up in the clink just like the person who did this," she said.
Commissioner Webb also emphasised the significance of the NSW Police Wall of Remembrance to officers and their loved ones."It means everything to us. This is a place we come to... we remember our fallen officers and the sacrifice they made in the line of duty to keep the community of NSW safe," the Commissioner said.
