Speaking to the BBC's Rishi Persad after the match, Djokovic teased: "To all the fans that have had respect and stayed here tonight , I think you from the bottom of my heart and I appreciate it. As Rune held for 3-2 in the second set, Djokovic showed a nice turn of pace for a 37-year-old as he ran to his chair, collected his towel and whizzed off court.He breezed through that first set 6-3, thanks to an immediate early break as he won the first 12 points of the match.Apparently he wanted to go off court and was deep in conversation with chair umpire Nico Helwerth at the last change of ends.
