A 65-year-old woman died Friday, April 7 after she and her grandchildren were found unresponsive in the swimming pool at her Murrieta home, police said.
Officers responded to Spring Meadow Drive around 11:30 a.m. where the woman and her two grandchildren had been found unresponsive in the pool, according to Murrieta Police spokesperson Lt. Jeremy Durant. The children’s father and a neighbor were performing CPR on the children, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old.The children were hospitalized and remain in critical condition as of Saturday morning, Durant said.
