south has been charged with high-range drink driving after allegedly blowing six times the legal limit.

An off-duty police officer saw a silver Holden Astra sedan travelling on Alfords Point Road at Illawong just after 1.40pm yesterday. Officers from Bankstown Highway Patrol stopped the car on Orient Street, Padstow and spoke with the driver.The 32-year-old allegedly returned a positive road-side breath test and was arrested.

The driver, from Erskine Park, was taken to Revesby Police Station where she underwent further testing.Her drivers' licence was suspended, and she was issued a Court Attendance Notice for high rank drink driving.She is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday March 30.
