A SUV and ute have collided along Aaarons Pass, south of Mudgee, injuring five and killing one.
Emergency services were called to Aarons Pass, south of Mudgee, about 2pm yesterday, after a ute travelling southbound collided with a SUV in the northbound lane.A woman has died and five others injured after a horror crash near Mudgee. She was taken to hospital and later died.
The driver of the SUV, a 34-year-old man, and the front-seat passenger in the ute, a 68-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.The ute and SUV were travelling along Aarons pass when they collided. A two-year-old girl and a six-year-old girl, who were riding in the backseat of the SUV were taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.The driver of the ute, aged 54, was taken to Mudgee Hospital with minor injuries and for mandatory testing.A crime scene has been established and investigations are now under way into the circumstances leading up to the crash.: Stay across all the latest in breaking news, celebrity and sport via our WhatsApp channel.
