CEO Brad Banducci will announce the price freeze on almost 200 pantry, meal, baby and household essentials in an email to customers on Thursday.
"The challenges we've worked through together in the last two plus years have been unparalleled," the email will read. The price freeze is in addition to the more than 300 products Woolworths added to its Price Dropped for Winter program last month, including slow roast meats, cold and flu medicines, soups, entertaining, coffee, and pet food.
