WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Thursday the figures reached this week demonstrated the world was not "learning to live" with the virus. "It is pleasing to see that some countries with the lowest vaccination rates are now making up ground, especially in Africa," Mr Tedros said.
