A small northern Tasmanian community has been left 'heartbroken' after five children die when a jumping castle takes off in a gust of wind at an end-of-year primary school event.
"I had the worst few moments of my life while driving to school, not knowing if my child was OK," she said.
"My thoughts are with the parents, families, friends, teachers and the emergency services that attended to the children involved in [the] tragedy." She said a similar event had been held last year. And, because it had been a success, it was repeated this year, instead of the usual picnic at the bluff.According to eyewitness reports to police, a gust of wind picked up the jumping castle and threw it into the air.
