Australians will gather around the country on April 25 to commemorate all who have served and sacrificed their lives in conflicts that Australia has participated in.
Dawn services, sunsets services and marches will be held in every state and territory to mark the day.The Sydney CBD march will begin at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Martin Place at 9am and will finish at Liverpool Street at about 12.30pm.
Following the march, a commemoration service will take place next to the Pool of Remembrance at the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park South at 12.30pm.The march can be viewed from Swanston Street near Fed Square right down St Kilda Road to the Shrine of Remembrance.will hold its traditional dawn service at Brisbane City's Shrine of Remembrance in Anzac Square, located between Ann and Adelaide Streets.Later in the morning, the march will be held from 9.45am to 12.
This will be followed by a gunfire breakfast at Government House Gardens on St Georges Terrace from 7am to 9am, before the march starts at St Georges Terrace from 9am to 11am. There will also be a family and mateship event from 10am to 4pm at Langley Park, and an all-abilities service at the Flame of Remembrance in Kings Park from 4.45pm to 5.40pm.The main march will start at 11am on Elizabeth Street and the main service will take place at the Cenotaph in Queens Domain at 11.45am.The main Anzac Day dawn service will be held at 6am at the South Australian National War Memorial at North Terrace.The dawn service at the Australian War Memorial will begin at 5.
