AFL: The First Crack panel has dissected the Sydney Swans' recent performances, highlighting the issues within the squad and what may need to change.
The AFL competition has seen some pretty impressive freefalls in 2024, but there is not one that mirrors that of the Sydney Swans right now - who have been accused of “thinking about Brownlows” instead of the ultimate team success.
“There is absolutely no reason outside of these guys being fully satisfied with what they’ve done up until about Round 16; have put themselves in front of the team,” King begun by saying. “They’ve been distracted, and they aren’t up for the fight … I don’t think it really matters what system you go with if you’re John Longmire, if you don’t get that 100 per cent premiership level buy-in. “I think it’s time to sit down, honesty session time what’s going on? Get the pumpkin heads off, and get back to the guys that were there for the first three months of the year.”
