UFC: Dana White reveals that Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski is one of the few fighters in the company that would fight anyone at anytime.
Israel Adesanya is hitting so hard in sparring it’s made even Dan Hooker hear a little voice in his head saying “f***, I should’ve studied harder at school”.
Elsewhere, Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski is also tipping Adesanya to score a “crazy finish”, with the TAB also listing ‘The last Stylebender’ a slight $1.80 favourite.Yet speaking with Fox Sports Australia, Adesanya revealed he has made a string of changes to his fight program which include hiring a personal chef and enduring a “pre-season camp” with S&C coach Abiola Beckley.
Apart from branding his team-mate’s recent sparring performances as “scary”, Hooker also revealed Adesanya has effectively spent a year off doing “nothing but lifting weights and work with his strength and conditioning coach”.“In all the time off, Izzy did nothing but work with his strength and conditioning coach, lift weights, doing all of this stuff.
