NRL: Tom Burgess has hilariously walked in with a beer during the South Sydney Rabbitohs press conference to assist Ben Hornby and Damien Cook in answering the questions.
A loss didn’t dampen the spirits of outgoing Rabbitohs duo Damien Cook and Tom Burgess. In fact, latter gatecrashed the post-game press conference on Friday night with a beer in his hand.

Three-and-a-half minutes into the interview, Burgess let himself in while holding a beer and a Great Brittain flag before joining them at the table.The timing couldn’t have been worse given Hornby had just been asked about Latrell Mitchell’s one game suspension — which will be served in Round 1 next season — over the leaked image of him with a white substance.
“I came over as a young lad on a one-year deal, not really knowing what to expect. The game has given me a lot more than I’ve given it. “He was happy when I moved to the Shire because he’s a bit tight. He didn’t want to drive all the time, he wanted to split the fuel and he makes me get coffees on the way in,” Burgess laughed.“It speaks for itself what he’s done in his career and I think we’re all blessed to have played a part in his career.”
