Footage is released of a man being tackled to the ground by a transit guard at a Perth train station, breaking his collarbone, in an incident the Corruption and Crime Commission described as ''excessive'.

Footage has been released of a man being forced to the ground by a transit guard at a Perth train station, breaking his collarbone.

The Corruption and Crime Commission reviewed an internal investigation into the 2023 incident, which had found "no issues with the force used" and did not initiate disciplinary action against the officer. However, the Public Transport Authority maintained the officer's actions were "consistent with approved techniques" because Mr S had threatened violence, claiming he had said "I'll smash your f**ing head in c***".
