McDonald's Australia is celebrating summer with a wave of new, Australia-themed menu items.
is banking on snack-related patriotism after announcing a wave of Australia-themed releases. The McOz beef burger, complete with beetroot slice, is back on the menu for the first time since 2018. It's partnered by the Chicken McOz, while Maccas has also teamed with Vegemite to offer new shaker fries infused with the iconic spread's flavour. An expanded McOz burger range returns to the menu at McDonalds, along with Vegemite shaker fries.
(McDonalds) On the dessert menu, the Cadbury Crunchie McFlurry is back, with a new Cadbury Crunchie frappe, and a caramel thickshake. The 'Squad Down Under Bundle' meal, meanwhile, offers two McOz and two 'core' burgers, four medium Vegemite McShaker fries, four medium drinks and a limited edition 'Squad' bucket hat. The squad in question consists of McDonald's characters Birdie, Hamburglar, Grimace, and Officer Big Mac. Cadbury Crunchie McFlurry desserts and frappes are now available too.
