Former AFL player Eli Templeton is suing the Balwyn Football Club , the Eastern Football League and the Boroondara Council following a sickening on-field incident in late 2022.
While the now-28-year-old has made a full recovery, the unfortunate incident left him unable to play football again. The then-26-year-old was playing for VFL outfit Port Melbourne at the time but played a single match for Balwyn during a bye weekend.
