UK pop star Robbie Williams will be gifted a key to the City of Melbourne, in what the council says will be a gesture to honour the singer's contribution to the city.
"Better Man is the biggest film in Victoria’s history — spending over $142 million dollars in Victoria alone and employing nearly 3,000 Victorians," a press release promoting the concert stated.A handful of diehard Robbie Williams fans were up at dawn to camp out at Fed Square, in hopes of bagging a front row spot for the impromptu concert.
Brisbane resident Deanne flew down from Queensland almost immediately after hearing about the event yesterday.
