Ashley Paul Griffith is being sentenced in the District Court in Brisbane after pleading guilty to 307 charges against 69 children at early learning centres in Brisbane and Italy.
The mother of a girl who was sexually abused by a former Queensland childcare worker has told a court how she lives with "unshakeable anger and distrust of almost everyone".
"What was once a trajectory which included healthy, mentally strong and emotionally present parents, is now a hit and miss ordeal," she said. "It is noted that, despite presenting as empathetic towards the victims, during the assessment the psychiatrist concluded that he lacked empathy."
