Do not travel outside your communities if you live in a border town, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has warned.
The premier said she was considering setting restrictions to stop people leaving towns like Albury or Moama, to stop coronavirus spreading deeper into the state."The probability of contagion in NSW given what's happening in Victoria is extremely high.She cited a potential coronavirus case in Wodonga, on the Victorian side of the border, which is currently being investigated.
"The so-called bubble we're creating in those border communities, will only be successful if people are compliant," Ms Berejiklian said."So for communities like Wagga and others who have close interaction with people in Albury, I ask you not to visit those border communities from other parts of New South Wales unless you absolutely have to," she said.
