The official outburst came after a weekend meeting in Phnom Penh between Foreign Minister Penny Wong, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa, in which they slammed China’s use of large-scale military exercises including firing ballistic missiles that have “gravely” affected peace and stability.
