Police are investigating links between the shooting, a car fire, and vehicle thefts last year.

A 50-year-old Altony North man left his property on Fourth Avenue just before 7.40pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Footage then shows another man chasing the 50-year-old along the street before shooting him in the arm.Police believe the shooting was targeted but a case of mistaken identity. The 50-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
