Indonesian health authorities believe a Chinese tourist who contracted the novel coronavirus a week and a day after returning from a Bali holiday only fell ill after returning to China
the agency was working to identify the man's travel history and what his activities were while in Bali, conceding that there was a chance the man had been sick while in Indonesia.
In a statement, Lion Air said that flight crew and passengers on the flight back to Shanghai on January 28 had been screened at Bali's airport and no sign of the virus had been detected.About 1.23 million Australians visited Bali in 2019, more than from any other country, while China was the second-highest source of tourists with about 1.2 million people.
