Community health organisations will begin sending COVID-19 testing teams to at-risk sites across Melbourne when restrictions begin to ease next week.

Core members of the teams will include a GP, nurse, testing support staff, a wellbeing coordinator and, depending on the site, cultural liaison officers. "Community Health and local responders are very much at the front line of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic," said IPC Health chief executive Jayne Nelson.
