NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said more than 22,000 tests were done on Wednesday including more than 3400 just within south-western Sydney. Dr Chant said authorities were working to track whether those three cases with unknown origin were at any of the venues now linked with the Casula outbreak.
Other cases confirmed after the reporting period include a teen who attended a club in Brighton Le Sands with a previously confirmed case, and a person who flew to Ballina on July 12 on Jetstar flight JQ 466.Premier Daniel Andrews has announced that category three elective surgeries have been placed on hold in Victoria.
