Lockdown has ended for aged care homes on the Gold Coast and the Toowoomba region, west of Brisbane.

“It is now 17 days since those confirmed cases on the Gold Coast and we have had no further cases on the Gold Coast nor have we had any contact tracing locations in the Darling Downs region,” he said. “That means we can now lift the additional restrictions that were applied [to those regions]. And here are the state's case and death statistics. Note: the 14-day average on this graph might be slightly out because it does not factor in cases which may have been excluded from Victoria's tally in the latest reporting period .No new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in Queensland in the past 24 hours after 6424 tests were conducted.
