Premier Daniel Andrews was asked on 3AW on Monday morning if restrictions could be eased quicker than what was set out in Victoria’s road to recovery plan.

“It’s all driven off data and if the data was to fundamentally change well then we would be standing up making different announcements.”Victorians will remain under the toughest lockdown rules in the country for even longer, with the premier confirming what many feared as he unveiled a four-step road map out.

“We will have cases in the future in 2021, we will have outbreaks but you got to give our contact tracers decent odds, it’s got to be a fair fight,” he said.
