A double tragedy has hit the Devonport family who farewelled their son at a funeral in the Tasmanian city on Friday morning after last week’s jumping castle tragedy.

Jye was tragically taken after a jumping castle accident on the last day of school term last week along with six of his classmates. Jye’s mother, Katrina Lamprey, had the unthinkable task of informing Jye’s father Glen that their son had passed away in an accident of his own.Soccer-loving Jye was one of six Hillcrest Primary School students killed in the horrific accident on December 16.
