The man - identified as 58-year-old Ryan Routh - was able to escape, but was minutes later captured by police due to the quick-thinking of a witness. A witness claimed Routh had dropped a box off at his home several month earlier, which allegedly included letters, ammunition, a metal pipe and four phones.
“I find that the weight of the evidence against the defendant is strong,” Judge Ryon McCabe said at the end of the almost three-hour hearing Monday, CNN reported.
