“Now I suspect the Prime Minister will want to go to an election before that because he won’t want people to do the math and what the math means is that electricity prices under Labor will go through the roof and that’s what Mr Albanese is promising at the next election.” Mr Dutton’s revelation drew the ire of independent MP Allegra Spender, who said the Coalition leader was leaving Australians in the dark.

When pushed on how the policy will effect the push towards net zero by 2050, Mr Bragg said he was sure voters would know what they are voting for before the next election.
