Sky News can reveal that Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has accepted an invitation to attend a meeting with the working group on the Voice referendum and will join via zoom this week.

“Mr Dutton cannot attend in person in Canberra because he will be in Sydney that day for several meetings and George Pell’s funeral,” Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell said.

“There is a feeling in Canberra that the Liberal party room will ultimately decide on a conscience vote on the Voice referendum.”
