Global popstar Ed Sheeran made a heartfelt statement after he broke the record for largest concert attendance in Australia - a day after he set it.
The 32-year-old was cheered on by the thousands in attendance as he performed at the centre of the arena on a rotating 360-degree stage.
The singer-songwriter warmed hearts when he surprised patients and staff at Sydney Children’s Hospital, and then again at Melbourne Royal Children's Hospital. Ed Sheeran performs for 108,000 people at the MCG in Melbourne on Thursday.
