As Lancashire continues to bask in glorious sunshine and temperatures of up to 28C forecasters have revealed when thunderstorms are set to hit the region.
The weather is also set to take a turn for the worst as thunderstorm warnings have been issued for much of Lancashire. The Met Office has issued yellow warnings across the country, in place from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday.Here are the latest forecasts for the main towns and cities in Lancashire. Thunderstorms are set to arrive later on Saturday:
Blackburn Saturday will be mainly fine and sunny, with some clouds, and the chance of light rain at 5pm. Blackburn is expected to be one of few places in the North West which will escape and thunderstorms as Sunday is set to be sunny with some clouds.
