Her eldest son Michael Nowland, said he was in a state of"shock, disbelief and anger" when he saw her lying in a hospital bed"unconscious and helpless".
Mr Nowland said he felt frustrated Mr White had spent the past two Christmases with his family, while she was robbed of her final years.
